We extend our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of former Maine Service Employees Association (MSEA-SEIU 1989) staffer Nicole Beaudoin, who passed away May 13, 2026, in Rockville, Md.

From now until the primary election, we will be running Troy Facts, a weekly column about our favorite logger Troy Jackson’s many accomplishments.

Our thoughts are with the family, friends and co-workers Michael T. Drake, 52, who died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at his residence.  A memorial service for him will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.

The Maine AFL-CIO Executive Board has so far endorsed four union candidates for the Maine Senate and six union candidates for the Maine House of Representatives. They answered our candidate surveys, which were evaluated by our Legislative and Political Committee made up of union members.
