Central Labor Councils

A Central Labor Council (CLC) is a “union of unions” in a region, whose focus is on common interests of those unions including solidarity actions, events and community service.  CLCs are a regional AFL-CIO and are directly affiliated to the National AFL-CIO.  CLCs typically meet monthly and also host community events such as Labor Day, Workers Memorial Day and the like.  CLCs stand for unions and all workers in our community and union members and friends of labor are invited and encouraged to attend.
