Nearly 1,000 people turned out on Saturday, Sept.

The Mailhandlers union (NPMHU) Local 301 held a stewards training at the Plumbers and Fitters 716 hall in Augusta earlier this month. They trained three new stewards from the Hampden postal plant and two new stewards from the Scarborough facility.

Labor history is critically important to our understanding of the struggles and sacrifices of past workers and to learn from them. Unfortunately, too often this history is lost over the generations as workers pass on.
