Buying union-made is an important act of solidarity that helps support good union jobs in America. Working people value the hard work and craftsmanship that goes into the products and services we make and provide. That’s true during this holiday season and every day of the year.

Below is a response from the American Federation of Government Employees regarding recent misleading statements from anti-union politicians regarding telework.

On Wednesday, Maine Senator Susan Collins joined with almost all of her Republican colleagues to vote against the confirmation of pro-labor National Labor Relations Board nominee Lauren McFerran. The final vote was 49 in favor and 50 against.

Congratulations to school staff at MSAD 49 who have just ratified their first contract covering school secretaries, bus drivers, custodians, mechanics, food services, maintenance and other support services. MSAD 49 comprises the towns of the towns of Fairfield, Albion, Benton and Clinton.
