During the unionization effort at the Chipotle restaurant in Augusta, the company fired some of the workers in an clear act of intimidation, so they will not be able receive unemployment or severance like the rest of the employees who were laid off when the company shut down the location.

Augusta Chipotle United workers organized a union to better their working conditions and quality of service. In response, Chipotle permanently closed the store in an illegal act of brazen union busting.
