Join SAG Members for a Photo Op at Portland Headlight - Mon. Oct 9

As the SAG-AFTRA strike approaches its third month, SAG-AFTRA members in Maine are inviting supporters to  a photo op at Portland Headlight on Monday, October 9. All are welcome to come and show your solidarity with the 65,000 screen actors fighting for a fair share of the wealth they create for large corporate production companies. It’s crucial that we show support for these workers to lift their spirits and let them know Mainers have their backs!

SAG-AFTRA members have been on strike since July 14 over low pay and the use of artificial intelligence that threatens their profession by exploiting their talents without their consent or adequate compensation. In July, we interviewed Maine SAG-AFTRA members about their demands and the state of the film and TV industry for working actors.
