The Machinists Local S6 Women's Committee's annual Rosie the Riveter celebration in Bath was a roaring success! About 250 people showed up for the event at J.R. Maxwell & Co in Bath for the annual benefit party, which supports the purchasing of diapers for families in need.

Registered nurses at Northern Maine Medical Center (NMMC) in Fort Kent voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday to join Maine State Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (MSNA/NNOC). MSNA/NNOC now represents 90 nurses at Northern Maine Medical Center.

Last week, the Maine AFL-CIO held its Biennial Convention in Auburn after it was postponed in October due to the mass shooting in Lewiston. In addition to electing a new executive board, delegates from our roughly 200 affiliates elected a President and Vice President.
