Volunteer for Solidarity Harvest!

Food AND Medicine’s 24th Annual Solidarity Harvest is less than one month away! This year, the goal is to get 1,675 boxes of fresh, local food packed and distributed to community members, union members, and other folks across Maine. You can help make this happen! Every year, hundreds of people join in from all over to make this huge task possible, leaving the state of our community even stronger than it was before.
Sign up with the links below to volunteer or to sponsor the cost of a meal box being distributed. Signing up for specific shift times and keeping in touch with staff if anything changes allows for this event to run as smoothly as possible.
Volunteering will occur November 12th - November 24th. There are two shifts each day (with a lunch break in between): 9am - 12:30pm, and 1:30pm - 4:30pm.
Feel free to bring a friend, bring a class, bring a group, or just yourself. Most volunteering will occur at outdoor workstations in the parking lot, so watch the weather and dress accordingly. Lunch will be provided between shifts, so we hope you’ll stay after or come early!
