Union Volunteers Talk Union to Fair Goers at Common Ground Fair

Union volunteers at the Maine AFL-CIO table at the Common Ground Fair had a full weekend of talking with fairgoers about everything union and labor. Despite an extremely foreboding weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday, weather on Saturday was spectacular, and Sunday was overcast but otherwise very pleasant all day – which brough plenty of people out to experience the Fair. Our table was busy as lots of people wanted to talk about our campaign to elect Troy and other labor candidates, as well as others with questions about unions or just generally wanting to talk about the state of the world. We gave out lots of Solidarity bumper stickers and Troy trading cards, gave out some of our legislative scorecards, and in general just had a very good time.
