School bus drivers with the Maine Education Association in Topsham picketed Tuesday to call on the MSAD 75 administration to negotiate a fair contract, according to WGME. Bus drivers told WGME that they have been negotiating since July, but their bosses pulled a “bait and switch."

While the members voted and passed a contract recently, when they sent it back to the superintendent's office, they said management changed a “significant part of the deal.”

"We haven't had a contract since July, and they've been working on this with the negotiation team for that long, and they finally came to some terms that were agreeable to everybody, and then they went back and just turned one of the terms, it just isn't fair for us," MSAD 75 Bus Driver Helena Strang said.
