Shipyard Workers to Celebrate 20th Anniversary of PNSY Removal from BRAC List - Saturday Sept. 27

Workers at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the shipyard's removal from the Base Realignment and Closure List on Saturday, September 27, from 10am-2pm at Albacore Park in Portsmouth. The event is free and includes a free tour of the submarine USS Albacore. There will be guest speakers and music.

The speaking program will kick off at 11:30am with opening remarks from Mayor of Portsmouth, Deaglan McEachern. John Lynch, Earl Donnell, Paul O'Connor, and other key players from the original rallies will be speaking along with Congressman Chris Pappas and others.
