Register Now for Labor Lobby Day – March 5

We highly encourage you to join workers from across the state for our annual Labor Lobby Day on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Governor Hill Mansion and Maine State House in Augusta. This is the perfect opportunity for workers from different backgrounds and unions to get together and tell our elected officials to stand up for the working class.
Click here to register for Labor Lobby Day!
Unions are working to pass a number of bills to improve working conditions and staffing, support more union jobs, improve retirement security, make our workplaces safer and more! We need your participation. No experience is needed - we will give you the training you need.
Workers will have the opportunity to connect to other union members and pro-labor elected officials as well as learn about labor's priority bills this session that will impact you and your union; how to effectively lobby your legislators for pro-labor bills; and how you and your union can get involved. For more information contact Adam: Adam@maineaflcio.org.
**IMPORTANT** We are holding the morning training section of Labor Lobby Day at the Governor Hill Mansion at 136 State St, Augusta. Registration will run from 7:00 am - 7:45 am; morning training starts at 7:45 am at Governor Hill.
PARK AND RIDE – HOP ON THE BUS! We strongly encourage everyone to park at the State House, take our shuttle bus to Governor Hill for the training, and take the shuttle bus back to the State House for the rest of Lobby Day. The buses will pick people up at the corner of Sewell and Capitol Streets in front of the State House Parking Garage and be running back and forth between there and Governor Hill from 7 am - 7:45 am. The buses will then bring you back to the State House after the training.
Please make sure your union is represented at Labor Lobby Day!
Please consider bringing some new members from your local who have never attended. It can be a transformative experience getting involved in the process.
