Millwrights Local 1121 members Jakob Harris, Mac Blundon, and James Trotter speak out in support of clean energy tax credits in a new ad.

The U.S. House of Representatives is considering budget proposals that would effectively gut federal clean energy tax credits that are creating jobs, driving investment, and lowering costs across America. In response, the Maine Labor Climate Council issued the following statement:

“The House budget proposal would be a job killer if passed into law. These drastic changes to federal energy tax credits will mean lost jobs, a less secure energy future, and higher energy bills.”

“Maine can’t afford to lose the clean energy industries that are supporting so many jobs and revitalizing communities throughout our state – we need Congress to stand up for workers and scrap proposals that would gut these federal energy investments.”
