Maine AFL-CIO President Cynthia Phinney and the Scontras Labor Center will be holding a special luncheon on July 16 in Augusta to discuss the effects of the Trump administration’s destruction of the federal legal infrastructure protecting workers’ rights.

Join our special guest former National Relations Board Deputy General Counsel Jessica Rutter as she breaks down what Trump’s firing of NLRB member Gwynne Wilcox means on the ground for workers organizing and what the NLRB can and can’t do now that Trump has deprived it of a quorum. She will also discuss other legal tools and protections at the federal, state, and local levels that workers can use as they continue to organize their workplaces and communities.
