The Maine Labor Climate Council, Ironworkers Local 7 and environmental groups are hosting a community conversation about floating offshore wind on Wednesday, May 14 at the United Technologies Center, 200 Hogan Rd. in Bangor. Learn about how offshore wind will benefit the climate, economy, job growth in Maine. Speakers include:
 

  • Jack McKay, Executive Director of Food AND Medicine
  • Jack Shapiro, Climate & Clean Energy Program Director, NRCM
  • Sarah Haggarty, Conservation Biologist/GIS Manager, Maine Audobon
  • Grant Provost, Business Agent, Ironworkers Local 7
