Get Out the Vote for Pro-Labor Candidates!

For weeks, union members have been knocking on doors all over Maine to support Troy Jackson for U.S. Senate, Matt Dunlap for Congress, Hannah Pingree for Governor, and all of our pro-labor candidates. Over the weekend, union members were out doing Get out the Vote door knocking. We will be canvassing right up til the close of the polls on Tuesday.

The polls are neck and neck, and there's so much at stake for working people. Healthcare, collective bargaining rights, and more. The only way we win this thing is by making sure that all of our supporters can get out there and vote. The best tool we have to make that happen is face-to-face conversations with voters in the final days of the election.

We're asking supporters to signup for at least two shifts during this final push. Knocking on doors during these final four days is the single most impactful thing anyone can do to help Troy and other endorsed candidates win.

We have labor-movement led GOTV staging locations in the Bangor area (at the Solidarity Center on 20 Ivers Rd in Brewer), in Lewiston (at the IBEW 567 Hall at 238 Goddard Rd. in Lewiston), in Portland (at the Letter Carrier's Branch 92 Hall at 550 Forest Avenue in Portland) and in Biddeford (at the Biddeford American Legion Hall at 508 Elm St. in Biddeford). If you don't live near those locations, we can plug you in to efforts closer to where you live.
