Food AND Medicine Hiring Food Justice Community Organizer

Food AND Medicine in Brewer is seeking an experienced full-time Community Organizer to  focus on food justice and the organization's network of Collective Gardens in the Bangor region. The position  will focus on organizing residents/members at the 35+ garden locations to be empowered to participate or even manage the garden, garden committee and more. Compensation/Benefits: Salary range is competitive for the region and depending on experience, with a range of $45-50K/year. Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision benefits paid at 100% for full-time employees; a retirement plan with match; and generous paid time off and holidays covered under a union collective bargaining agreement.
