Food AND Medicine Hires Adam Goode As Program Director

The Brewer-based nonprofit Food AND Medicine announced that Adam Goode has joined its staff as Programs Director. Adam brings decades of experience in labor, politics and legislation, having most recently served as Legislative and Political Director of the Maine AFL-CIO. Adam was born in Calais and grew up in Bangor. He earned a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maine and served in the Maine House of Representatives from 2008-2016, representing Bangor. He has been a member of and involved with FAM since nearly the beginning.

Adam is leading FAM's electoral program, managing its work to elect the organization's endorsed candidates this November. Adam's ongoing role will include related programs, organizing, and strengthening FAM's relationship with unions.
