Maine AFL-CIO State Legislative Conference & Training

This year, due to the pandemic, we have cancelled our in-person Labor Lobby Day activities at the State House, but we will be holding a virtual 2020 Legislative Policy Forum for union members to learn about and advocate for pro-worker legislation on Friday, February 26th from 9am to 1:30pm. At this forum union members will:

• Learn how to move a legislative agenda building worker power during the 2021 remote legislative session.
• Learn how to effectively lobby for pro-labor bills.
• Learn about legislation that might impact you and your union.
• See how the law-making process is working during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Plan how you will advocate for pro-labor bill to your state legislators.
