Members of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 714 recently negotiated contracts with substantial wage increases.

Residents of the Hidden Circle Mobile Home Park in Jay purchased its manufactured home community last week for $1 million, ensuring the land beneath 31 homes in Jay can remain locally owned and affordable for years to come.

Work continues at the Local 14 Solidarity Center, and the building is looking better all the time. On March 25, the Union Construction Academy brought their pre-apprenticeship class to the hall.

Whenever big Wall Street banks, financial institutions and billionaire investors gamble with our economy, working people are the ones who feel the pain. Our jobs, our homes and our retirement savings take huge hits when the banking system or the market collapses.
