For many years, Mainers have trusted Senator Susan Collins to vote in the best interest of Mainers. But in recent years, it's become clear that corporate influences in Washington have changed her. From voting to allow billionaires to pay a lower tax rate than working class Mainers and defunding the US Postal Service, to confirming anti-worker judges and National Labor Relations Board members, to jeopardizing Mainers healthcare and Social Security, Susan Collins sides with corporate donors over ordinary Mainers.

That's why former Collins voters like George, Penny, Patrick and David are speaking out.

Union members are supporting Sara Gideon because she has been there for us walking picket lines and supporting critical working class issues like strengthening collective bargaining rights, providing earned paid sick leave and health care for thousands of Mainers and fighting wage theft. If elected, she has also pledged to support legislation to repeal anti-union "right to work" laws and other policies that undermine workers' rights.

With so much at stake this election, we need all hands on deck. If you are a former Collins voter like Penny, David, George and Patrick who has had enough, please email info at MaineAFLCIO dot org and let us know. We'd like to highlight your story.
