Despite the rainy weather, union members received a warm welcome as they marched down Commercial Street in Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Portland. Members of IATSE 114, the Southern Maine Labor Council, Carpenters and others proudly held banners representing their unions. Maine Service Employees Association member James McClay dressed as St. Patrick himself.
