During the unionization effort at the Chipotle restaurant in Augusta, the company fired some of the workers in an clear act of intimidation, so they will not be able receive unemployment or severance like the rest of the employees who were laid off when the company shut down the location.

If you can, please chip in a little to Chipotle United's Solidarity Fund!

Funds may be used for worker expenses like rent, utilities and medical expenses and for organizing. Food AND Medicine is holding these funds for this purpose only, in connection with Chipotle United, Maine AFL-CIO and Maine Service Employees Association, SEIU Local 1989.

You can donate by clicking here or sending a check to Food AND Medicine at 20 Ivers Street, Brewer, ME 04412 and put Chipotle Workers in the memo.
