Still Time to Register for UCA Women in the Trades Program Starting on July 29

The Union Construction of Academy of Maine has moved the start date of its Women in the Trades program in Newport from July 22 to July 29. This four-week pre-apprenticeship program is focused on training women for registered apprenticeships in the union trades and will be held at the IBEW 1253 union hall in Newport. The original deadline to enroll in the program was July 15, but admissions remain open until all of the slots are filled.
