Labor Summer Institute is a two-day solidarity school where union members come together to meet each other, learn new skills and build our power. This year's Summer Institute will be held August 2 - 3, 2023 at the University of Maine in Orono.

This year's Summer Institute will focus on how do we meet this moment of strong support for unions and scale up our organizing, bargaining and movement building efforts. How do we build deeper solidarity throughout the working class?
The Institute will offer a mix of discussions, educational presentations, labor history, participatory workshops, art and culture and skill building. We hope that you join us this summer as we work to build worker power and a stronger labor movement. This is a great leadership development opportunity for new and seasoned union members alike.
