- Labor in the Pulpit -- Our Labor and Faith Liaison Mike Seavey is working with union members and their faith leaders to incorporate labor issues into their church services on Labor Day weekend. He has prepared materials to offer congregations and faith communities like preaching resources that reflect on the impact the pandemic has had on workers, particularly front line workers who lost their lives to COVID. If you would like your church or faith community to participate, contact him at mike@maineaflcio.org.
Please note: the Western Maine Labor Council will not be holding a Labor Day event this year.
