Join APRI Maine for Screening of Documentary on Portland’s Black History — Wednesday Feb. 15

Join the A. Philip Randolph Institute - Maine Chapter (APRI-Maine) for a viewing of the one-hour documentary film "Anchor of the Soul." This will be a special event at their regular Zoom meeting on Wednesday, February 15 from 6:30pm to 8pm. There will be a little social time before the meeting beginning at 6:15pm. The one-hour film will be followed by a discussion afterward.

"Anchor of the Soul" provides an in-depth look at Black history and race relations in northern New England, including the inspiring story of the African Americans who struggled to create and sustain a church in Portland, Maine. The film was produced by Shoshana Hoose & Karine Odlin.
