Immigration & Labor, Supporting Farmworkers & Other APRI Events
The Maine Chapter of the A. Philip Randolph Institute invites all to attend a series of upcoming events including an action to support farmworkers, a discussion on immigration and labor and a film about the struggle for the right to vote. APRI-ME is a constituency group for members of color within the Maine AFL-CIO. The group is always seeking new union members of color so if you or someone in your union would be a good fit please reach out!

Support Milk with Dignity Organizing — Oct. 17 in Portland
Join APRI and Milk with Dignity October 17, 6-8pm at Hannaford, Forest Ave in Portland to demand that Hannaford join the Milk with Dignity program to support farmworkers and the farms where they work.
APRI Movie Matinee — Sun. Nov 10
Lowndes County and the Road to Black Power tells the story of the courageous campaign against violence and oppression in the struggle for the right to vote Sunday November 10, 1pm Temple Beth El, 400 Deering Ave, Portland.
APRI Annual Dinner — Sat. Feb. 15
