APRI “Abolitionist Movement & the Underground Railroad” Presentation — Wed., March 15

The A. Philip Randolph Institute Maine Chapter will hold a special online presentation with history columnist and Maine AFL-CIO Communications Director Andy O’Brien about the role of Black workers in Maine’s abolitionist movement and the Underground Railroad.

The program will last from 6:30 to 8pm on Wednesday, March 15 on Zoom. Attendees are also welcome to log on at 6:15 for a little social time before the program. The presentation will be followed by a discussion and Q&A. A short business meeting will wrap up the evening for those who choose to stay.
