AFL-CIO Organizing Institute Coming to Maine May 5-7

The National AFL-CIO’s Organizing Institute is bringing their awesome three-day organizing training to Portland in May. Union members will learn core organizing skills, designed to use in organizing non-union worksites or for internal organizing to strengthen your own union from within.
 

Training more members on core organizing skills is crucial to building stronger unions and a stronger labor movement to meet the challenges we face.

WHAT: Organizing Institute 3-Day Training

WHEN: Friday May 5 – Sunday May 7th (Full day Friday and Saturday, half day Sunday)

WHERE: Mechanics Hall, Congress Street, Portland

COST: $250 registration fee per person (includes all meals and materials; lodging and travel if needed are not included)*

*If cost is a barrier and your union/organization can't cover the cost, please reach out to us because we have some capacity to offer scholarships.
